Again this year the restaurant Altitude fruits de mer et grillades (seafood and grill) invites you to its “Place aux chefs” event. Chefs from some of the best restaurants will prepare sumptuous five-course gourmet meals made from local products. On February 29 and March 1st, 2012, the invited chef is Serge Rourre from Le Baccara Restaurant at Lac-Leamy Casino in Gatineau, recipient of the prestigious Five Diamond Award from the CAA / AAA Association. Mr. Rourre was named Chef of the Year 2008-2009 by the Ottawa Food and Wine Show. He will cook dishes using products from Québec, including foie gras, Le Fleurmier de Charlevoix (cheese) and the Cerf de Boileau (venison), a product of the Outaouais region. Chef Rourre will impress you with his innovative combination of flavours. This exclusive experience is offered at a cost of $90 per person and $60 for the selection of wines, taxes and service not included.
