A new, well-built condo in Mont-Tremblant for $99,990? Now, that’s unusual! And yet, that’s what Le Nobilis Tremblant offers, although 7½ per cent taxes must be added, pushing the price to $107,500. That’s the lower end of this project’s prices for a below-grade one-bedroom town house with 550 to 600 square feet of living space. The condo isn’t huge, but neither is the outlay nor is the $40 per month condo fee. Construction Premia, the builder, is erecting three buildings, each with eight town homes of one, two and three bedrooms at Le Nobilis Tremblant. The two- and three-bedroom units have 1,200 to 1,300 square feet of living space with prices rising progressively to $169,900, plus taxes. With their quaint style and well-finished, open interiors including wood floors, the prices are still very attractive. The project has a swimming pool, a hot tub and stands near a small lake where the developer intends to build a dock for pedal-boats, canoes and kayaks.
Headed by Cédric Grenon, Construction Premia, based in Blainville, recently acquired the project from another builder and promptly reduced the original prices considerably, by at least $100,000 and more. Located on rue Labelle in the Centre-town district near Le Maître golf course, the project is now well under way. Nine of the 24 units have already been sold, within one week of the opening of sales. The first units are to be delivered next March and April. Grenon points out that the first floors and walls between units are being built of cement, eliminating transmission of noise between units.
The location has its advantages, just a short hop to the Centre-town’s super markets and not far from the resort site. It will appeal to young families trying to find a modestly-priced home as well as to those looking for a second home, without the big price tag, to take advantage of all that Mont-Tremblant has to offer.
