Adopting Mont-Tremblant

In 2012, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant is launching two new advertising campaigns. Vivre Mont-Tremblant (“Living Mont-Tremblant”) is placing an accent on the beauty of the municipality and on the local cultural life; Bouger Mont-Tremblant (“Moving Mont-Tremblant”) accents the recreation services, the sports facilities and the athletes who come from here.

The person responsible for the Town’s communication, France Léonard, is forthright about the goal of the two campaigns: “We want to sell our town to tourists, and highlight what makes it unique. Sometimes that’s all that’s needed to give people the idea of moving into the area.”

But according to Mme Léonard, not only tourists will benefit from the campaign; residents of Mont-Tremblant will also reap rewards. “Sometimes when you live in a place, you forget how beautiful it is. It can be a good thing to remember,” she says. After all, a feeling of belonging is something that takes a bit of upkeep.
